For the last 2 years I embraced the Christmas spirit fully with displays of light and other. People are very quick to expect, after only a repetition. The focus of my creative practice is moving forward with more and more work and a tighter focus. I had no space to think Christmas installation as yet. But I must admit, l'air du temps, has dampened my vibes. I don't feel very connected towards this new society emerging.

But we can't stop the New Year train. My New Year blessings are coming with this image that was taken in 1981 but a very young man just starting his path as an adult. Moi.

On est à 2 semaines de Noel et mon Jardin n'a aucune lumière. Je dois avouer l'air du temps à affecter mon processus créatif. J'ai du mal à me connecter avec nouvelle société qui émerge. Mais les nouveaux ans ne finissent pas d'arriver. J'aimerais vous souhaiter tous mes vœux pour la nouvelle année en utilisant cette photo de 1981 d'un jeune homme qui vient juste de commencer sa vie d'adulte (c'est moi!!)

Family photo archive

Time was taken the last 2 months by working on creating a photo family archive. Translating analogue into digital is time consuming and must be made worth while. I decided to make all digital photos available to all members of my family via a share folder. Here is my method to convert slides into digital. I am using a macro lens.

A solution to the problem

For whoever had a go at finding a solution to the problem I raised last month or in my last blog. Here is my method but you may have a found a different way. The most important is that it provides a solution to the problem. But it was certainly great fun to do.

Functional Art

As you have already seen, I shifted towards functional art a while back. The page on that is still under construction. It is such a new path, I am struggling to express why I am interested in this. I need to explore in more depths to conceptualised. But here are some examples of items that I put together.

Ces objets crée sont totalement unique est réponde à mes besoins immédiats à la maison. Non seulement ces objets me soutiennent physiquement mais aussi moralemenyt car je ne savais pas que je pouvais faire cela. Un constant dialogue se crée entre créateur et création et c'est une histoire d'amour.

A New Lamp base

This is a new direction and new type of work. Creating a base for my lights. Here was concept I had in mind for a while by using hangers. It finally came together and I am pleased of the outcome.
